Rob Green, Headliner

Rob Green is a musical inspiration. He is Nottingham-based. He started off with just him and his guitar. Now he is a self-taught singer songwriter and guitarist. His style is a mixture of soul, RnB, Indie and rock which he has merged together to create a unique style of his own. He has won international critical acclaim for the innovative, continuous short music video for Blue, his debut single. He performed at the BBC Proms in 2017. We have been lucky enough to get the chance to meet him and ask him about his musical journey.

Black Cats and Magpies

One of the groups performing at this year’s music festival is called Black Cats and Magpies. They are an Indie style 4-piece group based in Nottingham and we are so excited to see them perform at Radfest for us this year! They have a new EP out called ‘The Quarry’ which you can listen to on all major music platforms. All in all, we can’t wait until the 23rd of June when this eventful day comes back around and we get to spend it with our friends and family under the sun.

Another band performing at our fantastic festival is The Frantics. They are also a Nottingham based indie band and we are grateful to have them in Radcliffe this year. They have performed in a number of different venues here in Nottingham such as the Dot to Dot festival, Rescue Rooms and Rough Trade Nottingham. They have some great songs that you can listen to on Spotify and Sound Cloud such as ‘Inside’ and ‘Collide’ so make sure to add them to your summer playlist!

You can also check both of these bands out on Facebook and Instagram.

We will be interviewing both of these bands on the day in the teen tent so come along and we will have some fun!
