Socks In Bed will have you questioning what a good band name is, but once you get to know this fun loving Leicestershire punk rock trio you’ll see their music that goes deeper than surface level.

With the members of the band growing-up throughout the 90’s and 2000’s, the early influences of American west-coast punk, such as the likes of Green Day, can be heard in their music. Today the band can be seen playing music venues around the Midlands.

Formed within Nottingham’s energetic student culture, Bon Temps is a rising alternative rock band making waves across the UK’s underground music scene. The outfit has rapidly built a reputation for explosive live performances, commanding the stage at iconic local venues like Billy Bootleggers and expanding their footprint to Northern music hubs like Sheffield. Refusing to be boxed into a single sub-genre, their signature sound seamlessly fuses infectious, melodic vocal hooks with heavy, driving guitar riffs to create a diverse and evolving discography. Driven by an independent spirit, Bon Temps delivers a high-energy sonic experience that bridges the gap between raw emotion and crowd-moving rock anthems.

Parisa East is a prominent Nottingham-based cultural producer, musician, and entrepreneur. She is best known as the founder of Acoustickle (launched in 2009), an acclaimed live music platform that champions emerging independent, jazz, R&B, neo-soul, and hip-hop artists.

Vee Adu & the blueprint band

Meet Vee Adu, an 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Nottingham, making waves in the music scene with her soulful tone and powerhouse vocals. Drawing from a colourful musical background of jazz and blues, Vee’s original material delves into the emotional complexities of betrayal and love, softly reeling listeners in with her relatable, but authentic storytelling.

Having performed at a variety of venues across the country, including Metronome, Bodega and Rough trade, Vee has successfully captivated audiences with her dynamic live shows, highlighting her vocal abilities time and time again. Her guest appearances at the Broadway Cinema, Pitcher and Piano, and Peggy’s Skylight have further showcased her vocal versatility as an artist, performing for crowds in very intimate venues.

As she continues to evolve as an artist, Vee Adu is poised to make a significant impact in the music world, inviting listeners to join her on this exciting journey and to let themselves be free throughout it.
